DapperQ's PURSUIT: TomboyX at NYFW
DapperQ's annual runway show is more than fashion; it's a synthesis of community, style, and the magic that comes when something is made with love and power. Queer fashion brings visibility to communities that have been told they don't matter, and TomboyX was honored to open this important show for the third year in a row. Our concept was inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, with a floral theme that starts in the past as a nod to Marsha P. Johnson, and moves to the future where queer style is expansive and bold. We collaborated on custom accessories with designers Dixie Darling, Squirrel Vs. Coyote, and Stephanie Seymour.
