Abby Wambach meets TomboyX!

Last night while playing to a crowd of over 12,000 at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC the US Women's Soccer team routed Mexico in a 7-0 match. Abby Wambach started it off with the first goal and then promptly proceeded to assist her teammates in scoring 3 more of the 7 goals.

We were of course thrilled when Abby met up with her old teammate Briana Scurry after the game to catch up and happily accepted a TomboyX tee.

Abby Wambach was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2011 and has been a powerhouse to the US Women's soccer team for years now, recently besting Mia Hamm's record of most goals scored for the US. Her drive, unwillingness to ever quit and openness to being a positive role model makes her a tomboy we all admire.
