Seattle, WA-- A new brand is brewing in Seattle--Tomboy Exchange. It’s a fashion line that is designed and crafted locally in Seattle. Tomboy X’s mission is to represent a style that represents attitude, confidence and the empowerment of women.

On February 11, 2013 Tomboy Exchange is making their vision live by launching a Kickstarter campaign to spread their excitement and passion for women’s fashion.

Tomboy Exchange is a lifestyle brand that creates, curates and cultivates clothing and accessories. An idea that was shaped by a group of Seattle women a year and a half ago, Tomboy X creates top quality, innovative private label designs, curates retail products that reflect high standards and style, and cultivates community around the brand.

The line will provide clothes for work and for play, in unique styles that set those who wear it apart from the rest of the crowd.

“To me, the word tomboy is about attitude,” says Co-Founder, Fran Dunaway. “ Tomboy X is more than a clothing line or a brand - it’s an identity. It's where strong, independent and active women find clothing that not only fits their lifestyle, but also enhances it.”

Those who pledge support on Kickstarter will not only support the local designers but local factories, pattern makers and seamstresses; as all of the clothing is made right here in Seattle.

Pledge support by going to Kickstarter.com and search TomboyX. For more information about Tomboy Exchange visit www.tomboyexchange.com, or contact info@tomboyexchange.com.
